Account Manager

The Role:
As an Account Manager at Assuria, you will be at the forefront of our client relationships, fulfilling a crucial role in managing and expanding our diverse portfolio. Your primary responsibility will be to advise clients on our comprehensive range of insurance products, ensuring their needs are met and their satisfaction remains our top priority. You will identify and acquire new business opportunities while supporting our company’s growth strategies and collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and future clients.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth.
- Present and advise clients on insurance products based on their needs.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals.
- Follow up on leads and successfully close deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer service.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Knowledge of life insurance products, risk terms, savings, funeral and pension.
- Fluency in Dutch, English and Papiamentu (written and spoken).
- A proactive, customer-focused mindset with the ability to build rapport and long-term relationships.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- High level of emotional intelligence and empathy in client interactions.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
